Mark’s life reflects the same principles that shape his stories:

Adaptability, discipline, reflection, and reverence for the unseen truths that guide real growth.

Through success and setback — in military service, higher education, business, and creation — he has kept one priority clear:

To find the authentic signal in a world saturated by noise.
And to help others find it too, through stories that demand more than passive entertainment.

Mark is an American-Dominican writer, poet, and creator whose work spans horror, dark fantasy, metaphysical science fiction, and emotionally grounded romance.

He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a lifelong student of philosophy, and a traveler between worlds.

Born to a bilingual, biracial heritage and raised across both coasts of the United States, Mark blends cultural depth with lived discipline.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Communications and MBA in under three years, and worked across fields as diverse as meteorology, government, technology, sales, automotive, insurance, retail, fast food, and even Disney’s California Adventure — before answering the deeper call to create.

Mark has done everything to avoid the fear of being a failure. In doing so, he learned he was failing himself through his fear and cowardice.  

 

Mark writes for people searching and craving something equal parts intellect, imagination, heart, and spirit.
